Lake Powell 2009

Nothing better than a few tatoos from Hanksville to get things started in our trailer park!
Swimming with dad...loving the warm water!
Watching off the back of the boat.
Tubing
Driving the boat with Grandpa. (Doesn't she look like she is enjoying herself?)
Hangin' with Dad
We left the regular diaper on while she swam for a while in the lake...I think it got a bit too full...What do you think?
But who needs diapers anyway?! Swimming and almost sleeping.
Good morning Lake Powell. Our 5:30am run. The water was amazing and so was the sunrise! (Sorry the picture is not rotated. It is rotated in my photos and everytime I upload it...it turns. Oh well...you get the idea. Gorgeous.)
Thank you water!

And thanks mom and dad for the fun trip! We loved being with you!

Life is good!

What could be better than brushing your teeth before church?
A family camp out in the backyard!

What could be better than a family camp out in the backyard?
Watching dad get ready for the camp out in the kitchen. (Yes I came down the stairs and Bill was trying out or new camping mattresses. He just couldn't wait!)
And what could be better than seeing silly dad on the kitchen floor? Me in my own sleeping bag on the floor!
And what could possibly be better than getting ready to sleep on the floor?
Sleeping in my Mom's grocery cart at walmart of course! Life does not get better than this.
So Nina was literally falling asleep sitting up in the cart. (Some of you are thinking...why didn't you give your child a nap BEFORE going to the store? She was in bed for two hours this morning...talking, chatting...and of course not sleeping. It would get quiet and I would think...oh there she goes...and then I would hear "roooooaaar." That is what a bear says.) So she started to fall asleep sitting up, and so I laid her down...with a diaper for a pillow...and let her sleep while I shopped. I got a lot done, and she got her nap. Do we work well together or what?!
